In partnership with the PGA of Australia, the Hawks Nest Beachside Pro-Am has become one of the most sought-after events on the schedule, offering a professional prize purse of $50,000. Held at Hawks Nest Golf Club in late August/early September, it’s an event not to be missed. Amateur golfers have the rare chance to tee it up with Australia’s best, gaining firsthand insight into how the pros approach the game.
If you’re new to the Pro-Am, it’s a truly unique experience spread across two action-packed days. In 2023, the event was proudly named NSW/ACT Tournament of the Year at the PGA Golf Industry Awards, and we were honoured to be finalists again in 2024. The Pro-Am continues to raise the bar each year, cementing its place as one of the premier golfing events on the calendar.
The excitement doesn’t stop on the course — the mid-round Gala Dinner is a standout, featuring guest speaker appearances, amazing food, and live entertainment. It’s become a sell-out occasion, drawing not only golfers but also the wider community who come together to celebrate the event in style. To wrap up the event, the Ray White Shoot-Out under lights creates a thrilling finale, followed by presentations and celebrations with players, sponsors, and guests, it’s the perfect way to close out such an incredible two days.
Our 2025 Hawks Nest Beachside Pro-Am was a huge success, held on Sept 5th & 6th with Nathan Barbieri taking the title with back-to-back rounds of 67, total of 10 under par for the 36 hole event.
