What an incredible two days at Hawks Nest Golf Club! The 2026 Sanderling Pro-Am has officially wrapped up, and what a way to continue the next chapter of our award-winning event.
Formerly known as the Hawks Nest Beachside Pro-Am, 2026 marked an exciting new era for the tournament as we proudly welcomed The Sanderling as our new naming rights sponsor. While the name may be new, the same award-winning atmosphere, incredible golf and unforgettable experience remained at the heart of the event.
In partnership with the PGA of Australia, The Sanderling Pro-Am once again brought together an elite field of PGA Professionals, amateur golfers, sponsors and spectators for two action-packed days of golf at Hawks Nest Golf Club, with a $50,000 professional prize purse and more than 280 players taking part.
The event has continued to cement its place as one of the premier golfing events on the calendar, having been recognised at the PGA Golf Industry Awards as NSW/ACT Tournament of the Year in 2023 and 2025, with a finalist position in 2024.
The Pro-Am is about so much more than the golf, with the Gala Dinner once again proving to be a standout of the weekend.
Hosted by Peter Sterling, guests enjoyed a fantastic evening featuring a two-course dinner, live entertainment from Ewald, multi-award-winning ventriloquist Darren Carr, and special guest speakers PGA TOUR winner Nathan Green and Nathan Power, two-time Olympian and captain of the Australian Water Polo team.
The weekend finished in spectacular style with the Ray White Shoot-Out under lights, followed by presentations, live music and celebrations with players, sponsors, members and guests — the perfect way to round out another incredible Pro-Am.
Andrew Campbell returned to the winners circle at The Sanderling Pro-Am 2026 after also taking the event in 2023. Campbell fired rounds of 68 and 65 to finish 11 under par.
